1. For those who already forgot your current Password
- Use a private browser window to access https://outlook.office365.com, enter your CityU(DG) email address, select Forgot my password.
or directly open https://aka.ms/sspr to reset password. - Enter the characters in the picture and Next
- Select I forgot my password, and Next.
- If you had registered your account with both mobile phone and authenticator app, you will see following screen.
For the option "Text my mobile phone", you need to enter your mobile phone number and will receive SMS code for creating a new password.
For the option "Enter a code from my authenticator app", you can open Authenticator app on your phone and input the 6-digit code popping up here.
- Enter your new password.
- If neither your mobile phone nor the authenticator app shows up, please report your case to it.servicedesk@cityu-dg.edu.cn, and we will engage the support staff to help with it.
2. For those who know the current Password
- Go to https://myaccount.microsoft.com/ and sign in with your CityU(DG) email and current password.
- From the Password session, click CHANGE PASSWORD.
- Enter your new password then Submit.
