Login Email and MFA setup (For Cohort 2025)

1. Login Email Account 

1. Upon the Admission Notification SMS, you will obtain your personal account information:
Network account username: Your Student ID
Email account:studentID@cityu-dg.edu.cn
2. Please go to  https://outlook.office.com/cityu-dg.edu.cn, enter the email address "StudentID@cityu-dg.edu.cn" and the password provided by the SMS, to login your email account.

2. Email MFA 

1. After logging in, the system will prompt you to provide additional information to ensure account security.
2. Upon entering the corresponding page, you are required to complete the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) setup.
It is recommended to use the Okta app as the multi-factor authentication tool. Please access the URL https://download.cityu-dg.edu.cn/download/okta.apk via your mobile phone to download and install the Okta app in advance.
Please select "I want to use a different authenticator app", and click "Next".
3. Click the "Next"
4. Please launch the Okta app on your mobile phone and scan the QR code displayed on the interface. Once the scan is complete, click the "Next" button to proceed.
5. Please enter the verification code displayed in the Okta app on the corresponding page, and click the "Next" button after completing the input.
6. Please enter your mobile phone number and then click the "Next" button.
7. Please enter the verification code received on your mobile phone and click the "Next" button.
8. You have successfully completed the account security binding. Please click the "Complete" button.
9. Upon completion of the above steps, you will be able to send/receive emails.
