      Luceda is a Belgian photonic design automation (PDA) software company (fully acquired by Semitronix in 2025). Its core product is the Python-based IPKISS platform, which covers the entire workflow of silicon photonics/photonic integrated circuit (PIC) design, from device design and simulation verification to tape-out preparation. It is tailored for academic research and teaching scenarios, enabling efficient PIC prototyping, PDK adaptation, and cross-platform collaboration.
